To update notification preferences, go to the Members tab within your firm profile and click on your name. A screen will appear where you can toggle your settings. If you wish to receive notifications, keep the toggle on; if you do not wish to receive notifications then toggle that setting off (blue is on, grey is off).

The following notification settings can be toggled on and off for each member within a Lexamica firm profile. Here is what each setting means:

Expiring Referrals – A case in your Inbox or Evaluation folder is set to expire within 2 hours. Immediate action is required by your firm.

New Referrals – A new case is sent to your firm. This case can be found in the Inbox folder of Lexamica.

Referral Evaluation Updates – Sent when a case exits the evaluation period due to one of the following reasons:

  • Declined

  • Accepted

  • Expired

  • Canceled by the originating firm.

Referral Updates – Sent under one of the following conditions:

  • Information about the case has been changed (ex. Client information)

  • Update due by Handler firm (sent 3 days before due date)

  • Update overdue by Handler firm

  • Details about the actual Update provided

Resolutions And Disputes – Sent as a case moves through the Resolutions folder on Lexamica

User Changes – When a new member is invited to a Firm Profile on Lexamica this notification is sent upon that potential member:

  • Accepting the invite

  • Declining the invite

  • Invite canceled

Platform Notifications – Informs when there are upcoming updates to the platform or when scheduled maintenance will occur (i.e, when Lexamica will be temporarily unavailable). Turned off by default.
