The Many Ways to Send a Referral

Lexamica is designed to make referral sending incredibly easy. To that end there are multiple ways to send a referral.

Lexamica App

To send referrals, your user must have the "send referrals" permission enabled.

  1. Go to any case view page (e.g., "All Cases" or "Inbox")

  2. Click "Make Referral" button in the top right corner of the page

  3. Complete the required fields

  4. Click "Create Referral" at bottom of page

Zapier App

Zapier is a universal automation tool that connects 1,000s of cloud-based systems. Lexamica has many triggers and actions including Create Referral. This is typically how our Lead Docket, Filevine, MyCase, Clio Manage, Salesforce (non-Litify) and other lawyers connect to send referrals.

Native Integrations

Lexamica natively supports sending referrals from Litify and SmartAdvocate. Contact our support team to learn more if your firm has one of these CRMs and isn't yet integrated.

Webhook API

Lexamica has a custom API that can send referrals. This is an enterprise solution for firms that have bespoke applications for running their intake. If you don't know what this is, it's not for you!
